A recent plantation initiative at Equinox adds to the lushness at the inspiring campus
We organized a tree plantation activity at our Equinox property, in the heart of Mumbai, with our tenant State Street. We planted saplings of Magnolia Champaca, one of the country’s most sacred trees. The large evergreen tree produces fragrant yellow/orange flowers through the year.
The event was attended by Dustin Sarnoski, Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director of Portfolio Planning, State Street, Dhanashri Jogal, Managing Director of Global Realty Services, State Street, and Reema Kundnani, Head of Marketing, Branding & Communications, India at Brookfield Properties.
The plantation adds to the greenery at the inspiring campus, designed to bring employees closer to nature. The highlight of Equinox is the central courtyard, with drapes more than one-third of the property in green. With more than 400 trees of 15 species, this is a work destination with a heart.
At Brookfield Properties, we understand the importance of biodiversity. By 2050, more than two-thirds of the world will live in urban areas. It is imperative to create urban environments which preserve nature, protect diverse wildlife and uphold land quality. We are committed to making a positive difference in the areas in which we operate.
