On World No Tobacco Day, Candor TechSpace made the employees working across its campuses aware of the health risks associated with tobacco use and encouraged them to fight their tobacco addiction.
World No Tobacco Day is observed every year on 31st May with the intention of drawing attention to the widespread prevalence of tobacco use. In an effort to promote and support this occasion, Candor TechSpace hosted a variety of events across all of its campuses this year. The objective was to educate occupiers and their employees about tobacco, the biggest non-natural killer in the world, and to encourage them to fight their tobacco addiction.
Poster-making and slogan-writing competitions were organised, with employees of companies including Mercer India, Genpact, Accenture, Barclays India, PeopleScout and AIG Insurance participating in them with great enthusiasm. Candor TechSpace also sponsored nukkad nataks (street plays) that made a powerful effort to stir up the audience by creating awareness about the health risks associated with tobacco use. Soch Theatre Group and Chhaon Theatre Group performed their acts at Candor’s Gurugram and Noida campuses respectively.
People also showed their support by clicking themselves at the photo op and writing their views on the message wall installed within the campuses. The event concluded with an interactive Zumba session by Cult Fitness for registered participants.
