Earth is a shrinking commodity. There is a dire need to develop sustainability strategies to manage natural resources and conserve energy & water in our immediate environment. At Candor TechSpace, we consciously regulate, recycle and re-use natural resources smartly via energy efficient processes to safeguard the environment, by having Reduce-Reuse-Recycle at the core of all our operational activities. This is to make all our campuses sustainable, lower our carbon footprint and create a better place to work.
In order to achieve the above, these best practices are part of our strategic and operational processes:
REDUCE OUR CARBON FOOTPRINTS BY RE-ENGINEERING THE HVAC CIRCUIT:
With BMS controlled HAVC system, chillers were operated optimally with corresponding pumps & cooling towers, resulting in high efficiency. Through re-engineering of the HVAC circuit, we were able to:
THE GREEN ENERGY – SOLAR PANELS ON ROOFTOP
Solar energy is a renewable free source of energy that is sustainable and totally inexhaustible, unlike fossil fuels that are finite. It is also a non-polluting source of energy.
Rooftop solar of 533 kWp is installed in some of our properties to reduce the use of conventional energy. The impact is a reduction of the same quantity of power dependency from conventional sources as well reduction in carbon footprint. This means:
RECYCLE & REUSE OF WATER
Treated wastewater from Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) passes through various instruments for quality check and recirculated back to flushing & utility system.
The utilization of STP water helped in a big way. We are glad to share that collectively 3680 KLD of wastewater is treated by us through STP which is mainly utilized in the areas of horticulture, HVAC, DG sets and flushing line.
Together, we can conserve resources through a priority approach and lead onto a path to a greener tomorrow.
With 533 KWp of installed capacity, we are amongst the largest in terms of rooftop solar power plant installation in IT.ITES SEZs. We are soon to augment the capacity to an estimated 2MW.
To ensure uninterrupted supply of power, the campuses are designed to draw power from the grid at 33KV and redundancy built through DG Sets plants that can collectively generate in excess of 100MW for undisrupted 24×7 operations.
Our buildings are energy efficient with Double Glaze Glass Unit for better heat insulation; Uses LED lighting and automatic VFD controlled AHU, chillers and pumps.
