Noida is emerging as a preferred destination for organisations functioning in the IT/ITES sector. Located at IT/ITES SEZ in Sector 135 of this thriving metropolis, Candor’s campus enjoys connectivity to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway as well as proximity to DND Flyway (situated just 15 minutes away).

Public transport facilities are within reach too, since the campus is located at a distance of just 0.4 km from the bus stop at Sector 142 on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, 12.5 km from Botanical Garden Metro Station and 20.5 km from Nizamuddin Railway Station. Moreover, the campus is surrounded by large, diversified residential areas, schools like Genesis Global School, hospitals like Jaypee Hospital and hotels.

SUFFICIENT SPACE FOR WORK AND PLAY

Housed within a total area of 29.65 acres, the campus features roads on three sides, wide internal roads, landscaped green areas and separate entry and exit points. It is divided into three phases. The first phase comprises a basement and Towers 1, 2, 3 and 4. The second phase features Towers 8, 9 and 10.

The third phase which has been completed recently and is ready to be leased out to occupiers has Towers 5, 6 and 7. Of these, Tower 5 is fully occupied; Tower 6 is partially occupied; and Tower 7 is ready to be leased. Towers 11 and 12 are under construction. The campus also houses two Amenity Blocks with excellent options for F&B, banking and convenience shopping.

The campus has a total leasable area of 2.9 million square feet where approximately 22,000 employees work in shifts. The major occupiers here include Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Conduent, Fidelity, Genpact, IBM India, Mercer, PNB MetLife, NEC Technologies India, Sapient, Sopra Steria and TCS.

AN INFRASTRUCTURE THAT SPELLS COMFORT

The buildings within the campus feature high solar performance double-glazed glass for heat insulation and natural light transmission. They also incorporate anti-leakage features in their four barrier framing systems.

There is centralised air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation within the campus. Four heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) plant rooms with chiller cooling capacities of 1,500 TR (ton of refrigeration), 2,000 TR, 2,000 TR and 2,500 TR have been set up. The high-efficiency chillers used with COP > 6 and cooling towers ensure that employees feel cool even on sweltering days. For Air Handling Units (AHUs), a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) has been installed for operational cost saving. To help employees deal with the chilly winters of Noida, a heating feature has also been incorporated.

FACILITIES THAT PROMISE SEAMLESS OPERATION

The campus, built as per standards prescribed by National Building Code of India (NBC), ensures optimal space utilisation. A building management system (BMS) controls and monitors every building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, fire systems and security systems. A facade cleaning system, reliable storm water disposal system and a well-trained staff keep the premises spick and span.

To ensure uninterrupted power supply in the execution of daily work and routines, four main distribution stations (11/.415 kV) with transformer capacities of 4,500 kVA, 4,500 kVA, 7,500 kVA and 8,000 kVA in different ratings have been set up. Candor has also gotten a load of 15 MVA capacity sanctioned by the state electricity authority (Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited) along with a 33/11 kV substation. The campus also houses diesel generators to ensure no disruptions in supply of power.

SAFETY AND SECURITY ROUND THE CLOCK

At the campus, employees get to work in a secure working environment. We have round-the-clock, well-trained security and fire safety officers with an Emergency Response Team (ERT) on-site and a Quick Response Team (QRT) on call provided by our security provider. All important areas within the campus like entry and exit gates, security control room, BMS rooms, utility areas and common areas are guarded. A boundary wall with MS grill has been erected around the campus area.

To increase the safety quotient, adequate fire and life safety arrangements are also in place. The campus is equipped with FM-compliant fire sprinklers, diesel engine driven pumps, main and standby pumps for hydrants, and sprinkler system with ample storage capacity. Fire extinguishers have been installed within the campus. Fire exits fitted with fire-resistant doors are kept clear at all times to ensure that everyone can exit the workplace in the event of a fire or other emergency.

A WORK ENVIRONMENT CLOSER TO NATURE

Because natural elements play a major role in creative thinking, the campus incorporates spaces that bring employees closer to nature. It boasts of landscaped green areas measuring approximately 30,915 square metres.

Ample care is also taken to ensure that the lush foliage does not put a burden on other natural resources. To save water, a drip irrigation system is being installed. Till date, 11 rainwater harvesting pits have been constructed to allow the rainwater to replenish the groundwater by recharging the underground aquifers. Two sewerage treatment plants with a capacity to save 300 kld (kilo litres per day) and 600 kld respectively have been set up and are in operation.

OPTIONS FOR CONVENIENCE AND RECREATION

To increase employees’ satisfaction with their work and improve their social life within the campus, there are two Amenity Blocks that provide facilities like ATMs, banks, a food court and a retail area. Employees can feast on a delicious array of foods and beverages at the outlets of brands like Lite Bite Foods, Pizza Hut, Tata Starbucks, Chaayos, Pita Pit, Kabuli, China Wall, Dunkin’ Donuts, Westin Burgers, Café Coffee Day, Subway and Madras Cafe.
