Candor TechSpace celebrated Holi, the festival of colours, in all of its campuses from 13th March to 19th March 2019. We bring you a full report of the joyous and vibrant celebrations.
It was that time of the year again when streets are lined with bright colours. That is right—Holi, the festival of colours, arrived in March this year, bringing with it fun, excitement and high spirits. But Holi is more than just a celebration of colours; it is also a celebration of togetherness, for this is the time when people from all walks of life greet each other with happiness. And it was this festive elation that made its way into Candor’s campuses during Holi celebrations from 13th March to 19th March 2019. Titled ‘Rangotsav’, the celebrations saw enthusiastic participation from campus occupants and their employees.
The venue for the celebrations at every campus wore a festive look as it was decorated with colourful festoons and platters full of colours. F&B counters offering theme-based cuisines were set up to satiate the appetites of attendees. Also on offer was the thick and creamy ‘Holi Special’ drink called thandai. A stage was set up for a quick change act as well as performances by a professional dance troupe and DJ in the evening.
The emcee for the event brought out an engaging style of humour while getting the audience involved in various engagement activities scheduled for the day. The celebrations indeed became all about fun and enjoyment as attendees participated in these activities. One of the best parts of the celebrations was the Matki Phod Zone that gave participants the opportunity to break earthen pots (or matkis) hung up in the air. Other highlights included the Graffiti Wall and Kite Flying Zone that saw employees having a gala time in a non-work environment. Some employees also came together in a drum circle, playing hand-drums and percussion to create a stunning musical spectacle.
Bright colours, foot-tapping music and lots of entertainment marked the Holi celebrations at Candor’s campuses, and judging by the vibrant spread of photographs in this article, the employees loved it!
